GHRU, Saikheda Organised “IKS Games“
On 6th August 2026, GHRU, Saikheda organised "IKS Games," an activity aimed at introducing university students to the benefits of physical activities and the richness of Indian traditional sports. The primary objectives of the event were to encourage student participation in extracurricular activities, promote physical fitness through sports, and familiarise participants with indigenous games. Additionally, the initiative sought to instil an understanding of teamwork and collaborative effort, helping students recognise the value of collective participation beyond academic pursuits. The event successfully introduced students to a variety of traditional Indian games, including Lagori, Dodge Ball, Snakhal, Tikkar, and several others, while simultaneously highlighting the importance of sports for physical well-being. Through active participation in these games and associated fun activities, students not only developed team spirit and leadership skills but also felt more at ease in their new university environment.
